Question 1 What is it about research as a career that interests you the most? In which subject area(s) would you like to pursue research? What led you to choose this area of research? Response to Question 1 I've always considered organic synthesis to be useful in synthesis of biologically active molecules. The field Chemical Biology enjoys the art of organic synthesis and drug design with development as well as its application, has been of massive importance for the society. It has the power of synthesis to construct complex molecules from simple molecules.This interdisciplinary forum highlights new chemical tools and techniques to visualize, understand and manipulate biological systems and processes at the molecular level and the abilitiy of chemist to synthesize or design a molecule enrich them with a power to shape the landscape of molecular sciences and build vast chemical entities from which most of the drugs have been developed and utilized for the benefit of society. For having this wide application I would like to explore the interface of Chemistry and Biology at JNCASR. Question 2 Describe any project, or laboratory experiment, or research-oriented training programme that you have been involved in. Please highlight the aspects that you particularly enjoyed. Response to Question 2 In my master project entitled with 'Some New Protocol For Organic Synthesis' I have worked on Organic Synthesis especially by using photocatalysis. I've expertise in the following area: 1) Organic Synthesis 2) Chromatographic Separation 3) Spectroscopic data analysis With experience and knowledge in Organic Synthesis I can make sure that I will be able to accomplish any allotted project. Question 3 State the reasons on why you want to opt for JNCASR for your advanced research / academic studies. Response to Question 3 As JNCASR is one of the best research institute in India and level of publication is outstanding so I would like to join this institute to pursue my research career. Here all the facilities are highly experienced and I know that I will get all the required facilities at JNCASR. I'll be over the moon and also highly grateful if I get a position in this prestigious institute.
